Hi all,
Just released an update. Details are on sf.net,
Download URL: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=34855&package_id=188547
Whats new?
~~~~~~~~~~
Editor is now capable to show paired constructions, like it
works in eclipse/far versions. Moreover, two editor menu
options were added: Command/"Select Block" and "Select Block Content".
These allows you to mark with selection current paired construction.
Of course, "Go to matching Bracket" (alt/meta-b) also works with Colorer.
There is no UI settings now, however you can manually change default color
style, colorer uses to highlight the text. To do this just add this
section
[Colorer]
colorer_hrd_string=nc
Changing it's value you can choose one of available HRD styles (see your
colorer/catalog.xml file for list of available styles).
Hello Igor,
I think you understand that releasing your own MC version is not the very
right thing. It prevents me of using it since MC is being updated from time
to time and I don't want to use old version you provide. Maybe there's a way
to automate Colorer integration e.g. by making a patch?
Hi Mike.
You are right, its no good, the worse thing is that personally I don't have
much ability right now even to update it.
Actually, the patch exists, not sure how well it'll apply to the latest MC
revisions.
Attached are two patch versions: mccolorer.diff.tgz is mine (to make
original mc-colorer build),
another is colorer-dynload.patch.gz - from Pavel Tsekov (MC maintainer) - I
didn't test it, not sure how well it works. It was supposed to be used for
official colorer's integration into MC.
The best way, surely would be an integration of this patch into the MC
itself (there was a trend for this), but I don't have any resources for
this. Someone should validate this patch, test it, review, and finally
submit to mc-devel feature tracker. Unfortunately I don't use MC so actively
to do this job myself.
